WHY INDIA

Child Trafficking Is Rampant

The nature and scope of trafficking in India ranges from industrial and domestic labor to forced early marriages and commercial sexual exploitation. Moreover, for children who have been trafficked and rescued, opportunities for rehabilitation and reintegration are scarce and arduous.

Many Indian Children's Lives Are In Danger

With an estimated 12.6 million children engaged in hazardous occupations, India has the largest number of child laborers under the age of 14 in the world! Discrimination, intimidation, social exclusion, lack of quality education, poor nutrition, poverty, crime, and exploitation are a way of life for these kids.

Sickness Is Common, But Unnecessary For These Kids

Anemia stunts children’s growth and is a leading cause of maternal death, and diarrhea from unsafe drinking water and poor sanitation is the second leading cause of death among children.  122 million households in India don't even have toilets.

These Children Are Delightfully Thankful!

If you could see how excited they get about a good meal and new clean clothes...

Rescuing  abandoned and orphaned children from a painful life of starvation, abuse, and suffering; Giving them a life of protection, love, nourishment, and hope.
